Automobile Accidents

In 2009 in New Jersey there were nearly 250,000 automobile accidents, nearly 65,000 injuries and more than 500 accident-related deaths. Approximately 57 of all accident-related deaths took place in passenger cars or light truck vehicles.

In Pennsylvania, nearly 90,000 motor vehicle accidents resulted in 87,000 injuries and more than 1,200 people losing their lives, with nearly three quarters of those driving in passenger cars or light truck vehicles.
